While the Ants Sleep
A steaming bowl of spring:
so lazy the view,
as if someone's recorded
those piper perhaps, their gravitational pull.
Though the world has its reasons,
its rind of predicament
has anyone listened?
All seedless or seriously-full,
we'll tell you the winter improves us.
Change for change sake. Puddle-poor.
So we'll fill up on dreams,
the pursuit of other seasons.
Fruit and the eaters of fruit.
Hence, the wedding. Hence, the core.
