:Forbidden:
Sometimes my friends & I, we get to feeling persecuted.
You see, we have a strong sense of entitlement
& deep stores of confidence that we are, individually
& collectively, the most awesomest thing of all time.
You can see us holding signs on street corners
demanding equal rights, better treatment, final aesthetic control.
We deal with the overwhelming apathy that the public
shows to our cause by looking sullen for days on end.
Then we go back to seeking out people to strut our stuff
in front of, bragging in our every action how utterly cool
we are. When this goes unrecognized, we get mean.
Everyone should realize they are nothing compared to us.
