Pants (Red)
It's in the hand—a wandering—
my eyes, the pockets
of your pants.
Enough, fly. My thoughts
on you & you never
in my bed.
Laughing baritone at ceremonies,
we gave ourselves an empire.
It was in the blood,
giving in. People used to
think we were lovers.
I'd call you; you'd call back.
We used to think we were lovers.
I kiss the back of your hand.
