In Dreams and in Love There Are No Impossibilities
Where you cut your hand upon entering.
Where the affable proprietor warns you away from the saw.
Where the dog and the cat play beneath the table,
between your many legs.
Where the woman has painted her black hair gray.
Where you have just returned
from a long soak.
Where the man bares his canines, offers oral pleasure.
Where snow on the road is ice cream and you
eat your way down.
Where your hand bitten by a band saw. See between the skin.
Where a twinge in your left side.
Where to split means to increase.
In dreams and in love there is no skin.
There is only split and increase.
