April 19, 1967
Sorry I didn't get to see you again.
Stayed two nights in Yuma
with Paul and Marie. A good rest.
500 miles today. Called Lillian
yesterday but too much of a hurry
to stop by. Several windmills
and lots of sagebrush by the highway.
They say it will only bloom
after heavy rain. Looks like
it hasn't rained in quite a time.
