panegyrize
she is good as dog is good,
winter making its small fist &
rattle. made complicit
with the cracked lamp
trussed to inside windows
and panes, the neighbor
watching her fours, the
slow satisfaction of
mimic: her body posturing
in the shadow of pane,
the window as easel, he
peers her silhouette as a
proud thing, a lamp
catching & deflecting
marionettes of body-
work, the panes of her
body exposed through
a stage curtain, this
slant, her stark shadow,
a swaying, a snowstorm
embrocates the body & her
unveiling, he watches
her well: doing well
as the dog does well.
