The Week in Renovation: Thursday

You have to wonder

who would leave

a ladder open

in an empty lot.

You'd need

an extension

to claim your reward,

at least. I heard

it's still there.

I'm going over there.

I'm sitting it out

to see who comes

to claim it.

Of all the objects

torn from their contexts

and left on the side

of the road, this time

I want to ask:

What in hell?

I want, for once, to get

to the bottom of it.
